not quite correct. while if you just tap the signal stalk the car will not change lanes bit is will if you hold the "soft click" down. this is how I do it 98.8% of the time. YMMV
I guess I will need to either ride shotgun with someone to see how their lane change works or maybe if I get a loaner with AP I can try it there to compare to mine. For now it's not being used on my car.
For sure the soft lane change works. You do need to hold it down long enough though or it will abort a partially completed lane change. I haven't tried leaving a hard signal change on to see if it will go to another lane after the first change.
I did notice that it is much slower to execute a lane change in the rain even if the coast is clear.
I was able to confirm today that the soft lane change works. Just hold the turn lever without fully clicking it and the car initiates lane change. I stand corrected. TM should update the manual.
Was also able to confirm the double lane change. It occurs only if you soft hold the turn lever. It doesn't occur on the full click of the turn lever.
I guess TM needs to update the user manual.
