Yep, same here, so we asked to change our AWD order to white seats. Since no EDIT button, they had to send in a request for the change. Waiting for it to be processed now. Hope it doesn't create delay... Suggested that it wouldn't since we have not been assigned a VIN yet.

I submitted the request last Tuesday but it is the same order as my regular page so kinda wondering what's going on

Just FYI everyone, I first day reservation, config 6/27 AWD 19" and changed to white seats last Tuesday the 24th (via phone & email, since no edit button). I inside specialist email on this past monday July 30 with estimated scheduled delivery Aug 17. WOW finally!...I then decided to have him confirm the white seats, and nope it's AWD with the black interior. He submitted change and now am simply waiting again :(

Update: received a call a few minutes ago. Delivery scheduled for 8/21, Tysons Corner. Also, my ISA said that the "contract hell" has been resolved and MVPAs are being generated without issue. Hopefully that doesn't change.

This is good news! I think you are the first late June order I've seen get a VIN. Hopefully my 6/28 order isn't far behind haha.

My coworker, non owner, reserved 3/31/16 online in the afternoon.
Los Angeles area
Invited in May 2017 but decided to wait for AWD
Configured AWD on 6/27 picked Marina Del Rey for delivery
Got email yesterday to finalize finance and trade in. Edit Design link disappeared, but no vin yet.

He was called yesterday and he could take delivery next week, but he had to turn it down as he will be out of town. The ISA told him and he could get the next one in a few days as soon as he got back in Sept. They will reserve one for him. He won't get the same car because they could only hold it for 1 week.

So someone else who ordered a MSM AWD 18" Aero will get his next week.

I had 18" AWD Pearl White Non-P confirmed for a delivery date for 8/6. I actually got a phone call from my sales advisor confirming the configuration. The same night, I received an e-mail from Tesla stating that the white interior would be released. Unfortunately, the EDIT design button was gone and I was unable to make the changes online. I did reach out to my advisor the next morning, stating that the white interior was what I wanted and he changed it without any issues. He said that the new change would reflect over my online over a few days, but it has been a week and a half and it still shows my old configuration. I e-mailed my advisor, and he said "still waiting on a proper update for your changes. At this time we do not have a timeframe as for when your vehicle will be ready for delivery, but it has been noted to build a new custom vehicle under your specifications as soon as possible." What are we going to do?

I called the main Tesla line and she confirmed that this is the case. Reservation date, then order date.

I like the sound of that. I will choose to believe what you heard even though the rep I spoke w/ yesterday on the phone told me reservation status means nothing. It's order date/ownership status/location only lol. She took extra time to give an example of going to a restaurant where reservation time means nothing because once you are in... the order in which the food was order will be the only thing that matters.

In college I worked call center jobs where we had no accountability to the customer, similar to Tesla. I can tell you categorically that, for the rep, it is far easier to make up a story than to say "I don't know". When you say "I don't know", the customer typically wants you to "go find out" and then gets upset when you explain that you're "too lazy to do that".

You can choose to believe whatever you want, but based on the couple of calls I've made and everything I've read here, these guys are just making it up as they go.

Did you not get a new order agreement?

I completely agree. Just going with the flow.
