Just called and was able to talk to a nice and hopefully knowledgable CSR.. I was told my order is @ 75% complete and meaning I should get delivery schedule email shortly in couple of weeks.. let s see what happens. Target on the Tesla A/C page is Oct - Dec. so they might deliver it mid to end of Oct I guess.

Challenge: see how many super chargers you can hit in one day..stay at motel and do return trip next day. Just a thought. I went to college in Ohio, I've already got that trip (from CT) locked and loaded. Oh...for @the_danimal as we spent so much time in NoVa..got that one locked and loaded too...is Tortilla Factory still there?
I'm a NoVa transplant, too! Loved the Tortilla Factory in Herndon...

I'm supposed have delivery in 8 days. When should I hear from a Delivery Specialist? Emails to my advisor are ignored. Phone call to my delivery center revealed no car and no VIN has been assigned yet. I assume this is normal practice for Tesla but 8 days is close.

I'm scheduled for delivery on Sunday, Sept. 23. Just received a call from Tesla this afternoon to confirm the appointment and was told my online account would be updated "later today or early tomorrow" with the ACH transfer information and VIN number.

Checked and it is not updated yet. Just checked again, still not updated. Will check again in 5 minutes. Geez, these next few days are going to be painfully slow!

Darn...they were great! I got my son into biting the fruit out of a lemon slice. Now he taught his son to do it too. I suppose there's always Ruby Tuesday in Countryside..but it's not worth a 400 mile road trip to go to a Ruby Tuesday and it's likely not there either.
However, what is worth a road trip is Kobe Steak House in Countryside plaza. Is IT still there?
Please tell me Anita's is still cranking out the sopapillas!

Tesla just called to cancel my delivery for the 20th (truck delay). She said the truck was on route but weather or something else may have delayed it. Rescheduled for the 27th :( Anyone else picking up from Richmond VA get a delay?

After 11 days of no communication received another email from a different person saying Sept 28 or Sept 29 delivery please confirm preferred date and time. Both times Delivery Scheduling Advisor, but different person and email content is also worded differently. More details this time regarding the process.
Looks like things are moving now. Got another email confirming 09/28/2018 delivery date. No VIN yet.

After providing a more legible copy of the title for my trade-in from the lien holder (bank) to move forward with the trade-in appraisal, I was told by an OA I’ve been talking to at my delivery SC that, “According to my trade in team they require some kind of stamp from the lien holder.” He copied his manager to see if he had more info, but I haven’t heard back yet.

Has anyone ever heard of this? I’ve traded in financed vehicles a couple times and never had to provide a copy of the title let alone some stamp. I understand they’re doing the appraisal blind on behalf of a third party instead of buying directly, and want as much of the paperwork done beforehand as possible, but this seems a bit excessive...

Anyone have any idea on what they’re referring to?

I couldn’t find anything searching the forums and it’s taking 24-48 hours to hear back from the OA, so I would like to get everything moving with my delivery scheduled for a week from today. My next step is to call the number listed in the portal, not sure I’ll catch them tonight.

Side note: The OA told me they were slammed this weekend with orders being placed right before free lifetime supercharging expire.

sounds like usual BS as #1..most folks do their orders online so OA may have not much to do with this and #2. there is no evidence of folks standing in line like Mar 2016 to order .. it is funny how these folks come up with all kinds of excuse for not communicating. I'm sure there might be spike in new orders over the weekend but the could be minuscule as not much update happened on the tracker or forums.
