Buying a used M3P

I have noticed the 3 month warranty dealers and I think it was actually one of your posts that enlightened me into reading more about the 6 month period and made me decide not to consider a private purchase, one of those same companies offering a 3 month warranty also does not check cars for recalls or deal with them as claims after purchase.

I'm pleased to have helped you. we spend a lot of money buying cars, I don't argue the price with a trade sale and i expect them to to be honest though sadly some try it on - and its not always the sole trader.
On 17th this month I sourced a car from Carshop Warrington, another 3 month warranty outfit. Multiple car sites too and owned by Sytner group. The purchase didn't go so smoothly and they were a bit petty and told lies, which i have reflected in my review of them on Trustpilot - which should be published later today

Most of them know the law, they just make use of the fact that their customers don’t and therefore get away with it. Just threatening them with being taking to court is enough to get things done.

Think it takes more than that even if they are going to take a large loss from taking the car back. You need to start to follow through.

Thanks for all the info and for everyones contributions, food for thought, I decided to spend a little more and found a low mileage HP M3LR with about 1 yr Tesla warranty remaining.
