Canada - Maps update?

2018.12, My maps seem better and way finer, but I didn't get the introductory page of the new maps so I assume it was just a basic tweak.

Picked up my repaired MX from SC yesterday, updated to 2018.12 from 2018.6.x

Tech said there are issues with 2018.14.x, 12 is the latest stable for my car

Tech said no schedule for map updates for canadian vehicles yet, therefore sideload not possible (yet)

They say lots of things, but I'm not convinced they really know... Perhaps this is true, and I wish it was not, but I doubt they've actually been informed.

Yep, I have same feeling, for some reason, I think they (people who work at SC) doesn't fully know about Tesla vehicles. Not a complain and not going to list of items they miss informed or not being customer oriented. I totally understand there aren't many Tesla out there in Toronto yet, and believe they will ramp up fast to compete other auto makers, hopefully.

I was told the same thing by my Service Center today. I was told they started pulling .14 because it had bugs.

I have the new maps in Vancouver - got them over a week ago, a few days after getting 18.12

Yes, I live in the Vancouver area. I installed 2018.12 and after a couple of days I went into the car and saw the release notes for the new maps. I haven't gotten 2018.14 yet.

I have AP2.5 in Toronto S75D 2017
Today received 2018.14.2 replacimg 10.4
I am quite sure I have new maps as they are marked Tesla beside Google when it is following a route. Also much quicker. Including zooming in etc
Browser also quick.
AP seems to work quite flawless, however just not sure about someone cutting close in front in slow traffic.
Summon used twice today and seems totally solid where previously it continually stopped.

I randomly received the new maps today. '15 85D. I don't have a trip planned yet, guess I need to do that now to test out the new nav.

I got the .14 update on Wednesday late night, got the new maps update notice this afternoon when I came out to the car. Haven’t messed around with it yet.

Updated to 2018.14.2 on Thursday, car did a 5.3GB download after work on Friday and got the new maps this morning.

The good news is that at some point (hopefully in the near future) you'll be able to request the update from the car. The only problem will be getting to THAT particular update. I'm still waiting on the last 2 updates.
