If you had a gas car would you want a full tank each night? I put gas when it’s 1/4 to 1/3 full.
Gas stations are on every block. There is very little risk of running out of gas. And gas cars generally have greater range.
Communities were a lot smaller and daily trips were shorter.i do sometimes wonder about some american cars from the 80s/90s which have got such astronomical fuel consumption that they only get like 300km of range on one tank lol.

I charged to 100% and drove this morning. The Regen brake worked fine without any warning.
I will go try supercharging and see if it charges quickly to 90% instead of 80%.
If it does then SR has no disadvantages as far as practical range during long road trips compared to SR+.
Did you ever request to have it downgraded? When did you have the SR+?I was wondering how much % I should charge my SR.
It is downgraded from SR+, so 100% in SR now is actually just about 90% to the original.
Will charging 100% in this SR every time be ok?
Ya but I have a gas station in my house that will give me 7/9 full tank each night for my daily commute. I can wake up with a “tank” that is 70% full each morning Monday to Friday.Gas stations are on every block. There is very little risk of running out of gas. And gas cars generally have greater range. And take a minute or two from empty to full.
I don’t charge everyday.
Not having to unplug every morning is a plus for me. I charge every three days. 100% it is for me.
Yes you can hookup a odb2 converter cable, and use an app like Vendor - Scan My Tesla, a CANBUS reader for AndroidThere is got to be a way to get cell voltage read outs from the car in some debug mode or something? And compare values to a non-locked model 3, both charged to 100%.
But just don’t make another thread in 6 months saying “hey guys my max miles is only 200 miles.” I’m gonna rip out my balding head if I see another thread like that. Lol
Shocked nobody has settled this yet using those tools.Yes you can hookup a odb2 converter cable, and use an app like Vendor - Scan My Tesla, a CANBUS reader for Android
