Current Delivery Times

Picked up today in Grand Rapids, MI, exactly 100 days from my order date. Car is GREAT...no gaps, no issues other than one small piece of tape in the gap between the roof glass and the headliner on the passenger side...easily removed with a spudger. Oddly...there were only two cars in the lot for delivery. Though they said they had a very busy weekend, so maybe I just missed all the craziness.

Got the the DC early and checked the outside thoroughly, then had the email that the car was ready, accepted delivery in the app and was already inside setting the settings by the time the delivery folks came out to see if they could help me...I was so excited I barely acknowledged them, I am afraid! Long trip home, but the car rides great, isn't overly noisy on the highway, and is an absolute BLAST to drive. Had PPF on rear doors and mud flaps already installed. The blue is just unbelievable...and surprisingly, my parents (89 and 95) were so excited about the car and its features, too! We had fun on the trip home.

I have to say I generally dislike Cruise control as it is usually more effort than just driving when in traffic, but the TACC was AWESOME...makes me want to play with more of the driver assist features and maybe do a month subscription trial of the FSD features next time I have a long trip.

OK, I'll say it...the car is worth all the frustration and the wait and the EDD craziness...and I will be sticking around here long enough to make sure @CSTARZZ gets his car...

Nope. FedEx still showing they don’t even have it yet. Was concerned that would block scheduling a delivery but guess not, so I’m less concerned

How fast did it go? Did you hit buy as soon as you read the configuration? I have seen a few come and go and I never even got to View Details before it was gone.

I actually saw it while I was setting up Distill lol. I immediately clicked through and hit the Buy button but it 404’d (great experience). Repeatedly tried for 10 minutes and then the listing URL redirected me to the inventory search.

I had to have been really close, but no cigar.

So I called Tesla this morning. He indicated that he was anticipating a delivery around 9/12 for me. my EDD shows 9/8 - 9/28.

I am MSM, Black Interior, no Tow, 20" delivering at the LIttleton, CO location. Not sure if that helps anyone, but thought I would let everyone know. crossing my fingers for a quick delivery..

Awesome!! Excited to hear you got confirmation of what we were told as well, 9/12 for Littleton!! I can’t wait for this car!

Just received my VIN for my MYP order...I had selected cash...What are my next steps to do a loan match from DCU? Submit MVPA, get approved from DCU and then ask my SA(who never responds) to switch to tesla loan and loan match? Thanks

You and I have the same exact build, and I was 3 days before you. All these MSM VIN's lately are getting my hopes up a bit. Hopefully we both his pay dirt this week...

To add to the MSM momentum, I've been sitting (impatiently since my order date of March 27 and received a VIN yesterday. SA reached out and said a delivery advisor would reach out in the next couple days to book a formal delivery time. Hoping you have the same luck!

I was wondering about this. I purchased the home link gear from the shop and I have it was delivered. I was hoping that I could have them install it before or the same day as I take delivery. The Tesla service center is about 15 minutes from me, so I could drop it off. I’ll call them and let you know what they say at my location.

They are matches to someone else who ends up not taking it or canceling all together. They then hit the inventory. I asked my SA just the other day.

Yeah but it should skip inventory and just get re-matched to the next outstanding order in the queue has matches the specs. It seems like that would cut down on the backlog as inventory buying is basically like skipping the line.

5/8 order MYLR…

I'm a few days ahead of you on both profile completion date and EDD. Different build though. Judging by those who are sharing their dates around our order time, it seems like everyone is a blanket 100-120 days out without regard to the production timing. Because of that and how often those who have been waiting awhile report EDD changes, I've got little faith in our EDDs.

You’re likely correct as its been 98 days since profile completion here.

Ordered LR on 8/3 (EDD - December) paid the Tesla Tax and changed to P (Blue, White, 5, No tow, no FSD) on 8/15 received VIN 259XXX today. EDD was holding at span of 12 days (9/5 - 9/17) for the last 2 days, now EDD 9/4 - 9/10.
