Just got the text for the delivery this morning. Set for Tues at 330d
if they haven't give you the text the delivery date, they always take it away.
It happened to me. Feel so bad...
Hit that Blue Button!7 seater white on black. Order date 05/04. EDD last night 06/29-06/30. Turned to September this morning, but I checked just now and got the blue button. VIN assigned immediately after (214XXX).

Lol. I did a few milliseconds after! Waiting for the SC to open so that I can talk to the delivery guys and see if I can bring this baby home.Hit that Blue Button!
That's so crazy because it is the complete opposite for me...Vroom is lowest, then Carvana, and Tesla was the highest by a lot for our 2011 Toyota Sequoia.Tesla’s trade ins are awful, RODO, caravana and Vroom offered me thousands more than Tesla did. No contest at all.

I've always speculated the same...Every mile counts! Plus, if it’s a 5% gain, then I net out if I remove my Gemini caps which, when removed, reduce range by 4-5%!
What’s weird is the new S supposedly has a 100kw in it based on reports and has a 405 mile range and is a lot heavier. Hard to correlate due to increased weight in S.
I think Tesla wants the S and X to always have more range than their “inferior” siblings. My point is I think Tesla artificially limits range on the 3 and Y. Not just for charging reasons.
Funny for my Model 3 trade, Tesla was pathetically low, then Carvana, then Vroom. Submitted stuff to Carmax based on customer service fears on Vroom. Waited 3 days and Carvana hadn’t scheduled pick up yet, so drove to Carmax. They offered me 10% more than Carvana, so I took the check! That's so crazy because it is the complete opposite for me...Vroom is lowest, then Carvana, and Tesla was the highest by a lot for our 2011 Toyota Sequoia.
There are some aftermarket options for tow hitch covers as well, ones that are very easy to remove without having to snap off clips, or risk damaging bumper plastic piece. Apparently the current tow hitch cover is already a Gen2, which is easier to remove than the first iteration. But I think they’ll likely revise it again in the future to make it even easier.I was able to get it off last night using a plastic automotive pry tool kit I had ordered on Amazon. I was worried that using my small metal screwdrivers would damage the plastics. While I was able to get the tow hitch cover off, it did slightly scuff the bottom plastic bumper 'shelf' thats below the hitch cover. If I care enough I can probably polish the marks out of the plastic but what a pain to remove this thing! I'll likely leave it off for the Summer when my hitch is in use and put it back on for the Winter, however I might cut off a bunch of the tabs like the guy in the YouTube video shows, to make future removals easier.
Motor Trend estimates the Model S Plaid has a 97 kWh net, 100 kWh gross capacity. According to Bjørn Nyland (aka TeslaBjørn) his guess is somewhere around 90 kWh net capacity but also says do not rely on the estimates, wait for a real world deep cycle discharge test to determine actual net capacity. He also says this is a smaller pack than the Model S LR Raven, which had a 105 kWh gross capacity. Either way, the Model S could potentially reclaim the throne from Taycan as the best/fastest overall road trip car. But we’ll have to see the tests!Every mile counts! Plus, if it’s a 5% gain, then I net out if I remove my Gemini caps which, when removed, reduce range by 4-5%!

Same for me - Tesla was the highest. Late model F-150, but with significant mileage. With the tax savings of trading vs. selling, the net effect was very similar to the value of a third party sale. That's so crazy because it is the complete opposite for me...Vroom is lowest, then Carvana, and Tesla was the highest by a lot for our 2011 Toyota Sequoia.
It’s Saturday morning in CA, they are all prolly toasted by now more than usualGot a VIN 6/22. Scheduled delivery for Friday, 6/25. SC called and said they wouldn’t get the transport delivery until Saturday. So rescheduled for Saturday afternoon. SC called again and asked to change to Tuesday 6/29. Then called again and said they were sending a special auto hauler to WY to pick some cars up, so for sure I can pick up today. I sent my deposit, signed all my paperwork last night, and now they just text saying the special auto hauler isn’t going to make it to Denver in time. It makes zero sense, it’s 2 hours from Denver. Not sure what they’re up to…
