I had a BMW lease. Sold back to a BMW dealership. Offer was $3-4k more
than Carvana and the Tesla trade in value, plus simpler than needing to do the payoff myself to BMWFS and selling to a third party.

Yeah I was surprised - in person and in photos it looks *much* darker than I expected. I love it as someone that really wanted black, but didn't want to deal with the visible dirt/scratches/swirl marks/general upkeep for black.

Like you I have been following this thread for a while. It's difficult waiting for the elusive VIN and no definitive assessment as to WHEN we get it. That being said I have noticed that a fairly consistent pattern is folk reporting their VIN approximately 8 weeks from order date.

Hopefully if that holds true for you, next week you will be doing your HAPPY !!

I had some success with Craigslist but my local area Facebook pages were great. I had over 10 seriously interested buyers for my 2016 MX and probably could have sold to at least 5 of them.

I took a deposit from someone who is willing to wait for my FSD to transfer to my new MXLR, to consumate the sale.

Thanks @series . It seems that lately the VIN is assigned approximately 8 weeks from OD. I'm hoping that holds true for me, as well
