idk all trade in offers on Teslas have tanked since 2021, the OPās offer sounds about right for anything thatās not like a 2-3 year old S/X or a nearly new Y.
Same OD here. I purposely dragged until then to order. Wanted 2024 VINs and rgb ambient. My EDD only changed once to Dec 26 to Feb 20. I bet we will get it around Dec 26 to Dec 31 just before the year end
Last year my brother received VIN on 11/14/22 and took delivery on 11/17/22 and he got 2023 X.
Yes, I would like to think that they would make the changeover soon enough so that no one is being delivered a new 2023 after 12/31/23. Based on delivery times that should be no later than probably mid November.

I hope so. Our EDD says Dec. 19 - Feb. 13.
It will depend greatly which batch thy have on the line in the beginning of December

Just went to see my car, rescheduled delivery for 11/17.
Noted panel caps and misalignment between the FWD and the rest of the body. Makes sense for the FWD to be that way, since you can't perfectly align articulating doors. I don't believe that Model X's are perfect in that regard.
I've looked at all the other Model X's there, similar issue. I don't believe anyone who says there are no gaps and it's perfect on their Model X. I'm also a stickler for quality control. Otherwise, noted no other issues.
Even then, I still accepted the car and already signed the documents. Just waiting for FedChoice to send the payment over and I'll pick it up this coming Friday.
At least the panel gaps are consistent on both sides lolā¦

Lolā¦itās okay I guess. Canāt really achieve perfection on a car that used to be $120k lolā¦ I would be more upset if I paid $120k
I think that gap on the window trim is normal, as you can see it lines up with the panel itself. The gap is just more noticeable on a white MX because the white underneath shows through more (I compared my white MX vs MSM vs UR at delivery)
Its normal I recommend black PPF on the frame to hide itā¦

Few questions I have the delivery scheduled for 11/17.
1. Do we have to pay the down payment before taking the car delivery or we can do it during delivery as well ?
The reason for the question is, if the panel gap is too large / the quality of the vehicle really not good. I would like to skip taking delivery to the next VIN.
2. How much approx gap is norm for Model X. I know this is objective question but just wanted a rough idea.
3. Fedchoice already made the payment and it is now reflecting in their loan statement. How does this work when I reject the VIN will they return that payment back to Fedchoice or keep it for the next VIN, in that case I may need to start the payment of the loan even before taking the next delivery. How does that work when the loan is actually tied to a VIN.
