Hope the new wheel is an easy swap for 22-23 Xs
I wonder if the wiring is any different that would allow for a direct swap, with firmware update as referenced in the new parts listing. I'd imagine that the airbag wire harness may be the same, but not sure about the wire harness for the wheel's different control functions. Hopefully that is addressed through the firmware update.

We took delivery of our tax credit MXLR today. OD 10/22/24. We verified that the FUSC transferred. There were absolutely no problems. The vehicle is perfect inside and out. The UR color with blackout trim and wheels is stunning. Yes, it's a 2023. Two days ago, we asked the SC in Sarasota, and then today at the SC in Fort Myers if they have received any 2024 model Xs. Both said, "not yet". And, yes, we got the POS tax credit. They wiped out our $5,000 intended down payment and deducted $2,500 from the loan agreement (6.69% - 72 months). The process is tedious and it seems to us that we should've got a 2024. But, the car is great and the the deal is done. It was worth the wait and we're happy with it. It was a lot more trouble trying to get a 2023 GMC Denali 1500 out of GM. That one took almost six months.

What a difference it makes to live near the factory vs out in the stix.
