uggghhhh! What to do?

I have .44 now and have my update clock lit up!

All is well and I almost dont want to upgrade ... but could it be .5xxx:cursing:

I don't think .5xx is going to be any worse than .44....I'd do it!

No upgrade notice here. I'm with you - except that I'd really like to be able to charge to 80% and not 93%.

Now that you guys mention it, I thought I was just imagining that the computer fan was louder after I got .51 earlier this week. I sat in the car as the software upgrade was happening and noticed at some point the fan started spinning, since then I don't think it has every been off.

I know someone that just started at Tesla in the software QA department and he lives a few blocks away. Maybe I should roll over and pay him a visit. I know that one of his job perks is that he gets to frequently drive a Model S home. So at least they are getting to live with their own software changes.

I got some sort of update today, but it failed to install. Dialog on the screen says it'll try to remind me about it later. I was on some variant of 4.5 already, so I wonder what happened...

Did you have the fan noise previously?

That's my hesitation ... my car is about perfect at the moment.

Oh well, took the plunge: 1.33.54

Nothing noticeable right off ... but hey, I didnt notice the fan either.

I also updated to 1.33.54 last night and the fan noise seems to be fixed. :smile:

Now if only they had a solution for the ambient light buzz......

I've had two different flavors of 4.5; the latest is .51. I haven't heard the fan issue so many are reporting, on either version.
