No one in the Canadian thread or on Facebook Canadian groups did received it so we are guessing American cars brought to Canada or something like that. Anyway...

Not sure, but the UI is crappy and pose a danger while driving as far as I know.

If you have your app setup for notifications. But essentially the process is:

• Tesla flags your car for an update.
• Your car downloads the update.
• Your car pre-processes and verifies the update.
• Your car puts the alarm clock on the center display and sends a notification to your app that an update is available.
• You can schedule the update to install at a particular time or start it immediately from the center display.
• Your car applies the update. This can take up to 1 3/4 hours. During this time your car will not be functional and will not charge. (You really should leave your car alone during this time, don't open/close things, or poke at it.)
• Your car sends a notification to your app once the update succeeds or fails.

Having read the feedback on S 8.0 Op re: Music, UI & AP I’m not going to upgrade.....hopefully by the time 8.1 is released it will be ready for prime time.

Applications keep opening in panes OTHER than maps on 8.0

We should be glad we were last! S recipients have had many problems so hopefully the bugs will be resolved by the time 8 gets to us X owners.
