Interesting. I had been told that it was not quite possible (or a lot more difficult).

Also I looked back at my calendar and my 3rd repair visit was in August.

I used to think they treated me special, maybe not so much anymore.:frown:

Yup. Got them the week after Teslive. My driver handle went flaky during the trip, and they replaced the whole set.

My entire set was replaced because of the random door popping issue, but I got the original behavior. I like the original behavior, so I can't complain. In fact, I feared getting the new "yank-em" handles.
 
Yes, OP will be fine. Sorry for threadjacking to such an extent.

I'm wondering if the replacement has to do with the type of door handle problems? My problems were the doors simply would not open, and worse would open by themselves. What was your door issue exactly brianman?

Maybe I have a ghost living in my Telsa?:scared:

If the OP is still concerned.... Rest assured that VIN 9,xxx will already have the new-style door handles.
