The problem is when you have one hand on the steering wheel, but the car doesn't capture it and nags you anyways. It's even worse since the dash screen no longer flashes on all four sides, but instead now only flashes on the top, which might be blocked by the steering wheel based on your line of sight and how high you use the steering wheel.Yes, they reduced the interval (likely due to the amount of accidents). But normally that's no big deal as you should always have one hand on the steering wheel. AP is a "hands-on"-feature
No, it doesn't. The steering wheels captures way more sensitive now and the AP never nags me with my hands on the steering wheel. The problem is when you have one hand on the steering wheel, but the car doesn't capture it and nags you anyways.
My experience on 2018.21.9 has been contrary to yours apparently, since it nags me non-stop (less than 30 second intervals) with my hands resting on the steering wheel. No, it doesn't. The steering wheels captures way more sensitive now and the AP never nags me with my hands on the steering wheel.
Just because YOUR’s doesn’t does not mean EVERYONE’s doesn’t.No, it doesn't. The steering wheels captures way more sensitive now and the AP never nags me with my hands on the steering wheel.

This is also the first Autopilot update I've seen with this many people complaining about it on the forums. And it's not just one or two people.Just because YOUR’s doesn’t does not mean EVERYONE’s doesn’t.
The lawyers won. They always do eventually.
I had a Cadillac for a rental car a while back ago that had seat vibration as part of the backup sensor warnings, it's a really awesome feature that I wish our Teslas had.Seat vibration would be a good nag mechanism. Hard to miss, yet discrete
I just got updated to version 2018.21.9 and now when in AutoPilot mode I'm getting asked grab the steering wheel every 20-25 seconds.
Is anybody else seeing this on their end. It used to be like 2-4 minutes.
