How fast is normal Vin processing?

Ok what I don't understand according to the Vin from yesterday it is considered a 2015 even though I won't be getting it until Feb 2016.. so I assume it will be fully built in 11 days?
Possible. Per many other posts and my own experience, things can speed up as you approach month and quarter-end as Tesla pulls out the stops trying to get as many vehicles shipped as possible. IMHO the delivery date shown on My Tesla will improve as the build has been confirmed and actually begins.... Until then it's a bit of a guessing game from our Customer POV. If you want the best guesstimate as to when you'll receive your MS, I'd suggest getting in contact with your Delivery Specialist. Since they do this for a living and have seen a lot of MS come through their systems, again IMHO, they have the best feel for reality -- over that you'll receive from everyone out here in the forums or even what My Tesla is presenting. ...congrats on your order. Hang in there. Your new toy will arrive soon!

Thanks... I'm now trying to figure out accessories and when to order them.
Ie; premium front console with only one cup holder and really could use 2, rear Console), floor mats... etc.. is everyone buying the tesla ones?

Anyone have wheel bands? Do they really help curb rash? Getting 21"rims.

So much to read and make a list on..:)

NP. Do a few searches here on consoles -- MANY threads with pictures on the Tesla front/back options as well as 3rd party varieties. Same thing on wheel bands -- a couple of different versions come to mind from my reading here -- both with varied responses as to if owners recommend or not (so I didn't personally install any based on the mixed responses and pics in those threads). If you don't like to try keyword searches, get your favorite beverage and just scroll down through the first several pages of each MS forum and look at thread titles -- that will get you going on what others have done. IMHO, for the most part, it seems there's at least one thread, and sometimes many almost duplicative ones, on most any subject a new or prospective owner may be interested in. You'll even find a recent thread requesting ideas for what to spend their time on while waiting for their MS to arrive -- which would help build your own to-do list on accessories and preparation. Good luck!

I am sure I want something in the tray, but I want to see it first. The only thing I bought ahead of time, was the CHAdeMO charging adapter. CHAdeMO chargers are all over the place here (generally not free).
