You should get the Faraday Future which use face recognition to unlock the carWith my previous car I could carry a car key on an elastic band around my neck while swimming in the ocean.
With the Tesla I cannot do that and I dare not leave a key card or fob on the shore. Suggestions?
There are ceramic rings that you can use to unlock your Model 3 or Model Y. They aren't cheap but if you shop around, you can find them for less than $100.

Thanks. I shall definitely look into that. I've never worn rings before but I suppose there can be a first time.
Can I do the same if I have a key fob?Hide the card somewhere? I mean it's useless unless they know where your car is.
Or punch a hole and tie it with a string. Failing that squeeze it between your butt cheeks.
Note: I was thinking to carry a small 9 V battery to open the frunk in case of emergency
and have a card hidden in a secrete location, but I read that recently
you cannot open the frunk this way unless the 12 V battery is discharged.
That was what the original owner's manual said, but it was revised because you can open the frunk when the vehicle's 12V battery is still charged.
Ack, you're right, I was looking at the 2018 version. The current owners's manual says that again. But I don't know if it is true or not.
I hope you don't plan to get a new car every year !Nobody gonna recommend a subdermal implant? It’s definitely the most secure.
