I think mashing the center of the wheel (once mapped) will only work for cars built after a certain date. I think it was in Nov sometime.
I hate to say it but I prefer using the controls in my M3 more than the S. The horn is where it should be, I can answer calls easily, adjust the following distance from the scroll wheel, turn signals and shifters are much easier to use, and the list goes on.
This is pretty sad as it isn't like the 3 had a brilliant interface to begin with. Tesla could have done more with the scroll wheels on all models. They could have added buttons on the back side of the wheel to control more items. So many missed opportunities for a much better interface.
