Haven't seen this mentioned yet, but the schedule of events was announced. All times in CST:

1:00 PM: Check-in begins
1:45 PM: Check-in closes
2:00 PM: Keynote & Deliveries

And odd detail: "Close-toed shoes are recommended." Maybe just because the event is technically taking place in a working factory.

If that article is correct and trimotors aren't going to be available until late 2024 - that's going to upset quite a few of those who ordered tri-motor variants.

Price in the article is also rumored to be "mid to high $70s" and that's likely for the first version, which is the dual motor.

That represents a 50+% increase in price from the unveiling four years ago, if true.

Funny, because I've heard a rumor that it's going to cost two nickels (one for each motor).

That represents a 99.9998% decrease in price from the unveiling four years ago, if true.

I wonder if the first 10 owners had an opportunity to do a CT test drive. I bet their paperwork is all signed and sealed before the delivery.

There are currently a bunch of unusual leaks right now, base Camp, beast mode, startup light bar sequence, estimated battery pack(probably fake)

All except the battery pack are credible (the Tesla API never includes kWh sizes). They've added Cybertruck assets into the mobile app that people regularly decompile. Details here:

It sounds like the guy lied to you. There are multiple pictures, including Elon at the racetrack that show when the tonneau is down, the screen shows the rear camera. It's not displayed in the rearview mirror.

None of the rear-view cameras in RC units nor showrooms have been digital.

Edit: I never said they didn't have rearview mirrors, just that they aren't digital.
You first agreed with the original picture and stated there wouldn’t be rear view mirrors because it would be on the center screen. Then this person literally said the “mirror” in his showroom is digital and talked to the guy who drove it (Tesla employee) said the “mirror” is a screen showing the rear camera feed because you can’t see anything out of the back with the cover closed. Then you said none of the rear view cameras are digital. Are we recording on a long spool of vhs that is fed to a vcr in the dash that shows a delayed video in the screen? Then you edited and doubled down saying none of the “mirrors” are digital. You seem to be sending many conflicting messages and tell people that their personal stories from talking to a Tesla employee are false which therefore means that Tesla employee thought there was a picture on the “mirror” that was being displayed with the bed cover closed. Must have been on something pretty strong to imagine all that footage being displayed.
