Yeah the AWD cybertruck is close to 6 figures with FSD optioned, right? That price doesnt include any options I think.

I don’t see any reason to rush to buy ons after being a relatively early plaid adopter. Wait for 2-3 years for Tesla to fix the issues and cut price thousands of dollars overnight.

It’s probably a 5-8K powerball built to go in the bed…not sure if it could dynamically provide power though, but certainly plug in.

250kW max charging rate for now. That is…poor. Presumably will change over time. A very good reason to wait unless you don’t plan on road trips.

So the synopsis is the range is on par with an F150 Lightning but at a 6-10k premium. The payload, towing, and clearance specs are good. The interior is still a pile of steaming !#$*, with the Lightning beating it by far. I'd take the interior of a Ford Ranger over this.
All in all, I don't think there were any surprises here in terms of specs, except for the range extender option listed on the website. A Volt like extender at a reasonable price would be a very good thing. I'm interested in learning more about this. I am glad they're listing a version at 61k. If they can fix the interior it would put it into consideration for my next purchase, however as it is, I'd go for the Lightning or the RAM EREV instead.

I saw that! You can actually change the toggle at top of the page to see real price. I am so Glad I ordered a R1T QM
Makes me wonder what the point of them going 800v is then. I suppose they could increase it in the future

I'm now glad I purchased and drive an R1T. I purchased it last year as a placeholder for the CT reservation placed on day zero 11/19.... Will be keeping the Rivian, for sure.
