I go to Broadway occasionally [tradies in backyard have got in the way for last fortnight]Was surprised not to see Sydney East or Central on the list
it’s close to the centre of the city, and there’s lots of parking
no room anywhere else

Batemans Bay has 4 x 50kW Tritium chargers. 2 at the aquatic centre, 1 at the visitors centre and 1 at Dan Murphy's. 2-3 of them typically work at any given time.Narooma Supercharger to Canberra Supercharger is a bit of a stretch for an original SR+, it's quite a vertical climb. Batemans Bay would be better than Braidwood though I think, because it services north-south traffic on the Princes Hwy in addition to Kings Hwy traffic, and would also be useful for those staying on the coast without charging at their accommodation.
The subtle beauty of Canowindra is that when someone talks about it, you can tell blow-ins from anyone who has ever been there, by whether they drop the silent noun to pronounce it as noun. Also, it's quite a nice place. Though I managed to total one of my Ford Festivas with a roo strike on the main road from Canowindra to Cowra though. The Canowindra one is the most useful - it fills in between Dubbo and Canberra/Gundagai/Goulburn - although again I would suggest Cowra is a much better site, as it on the Olympic Hwy as well as the Lachlan Valley Way, so is also on the route between Wagga and Bathurst, and isn't a detour for those going towards Parkes from the southeast.
Bondi Junction, Eastpoint, Eastgardens - all seem to be reasonable optionsBroadway is often full on weekends.
Tesla had council approval to install alongside Evie in Bondi Junction Eastgate but unfortunately not enough power.
I've suggested Eastpoint at Edgecliff as worth looking at - as that carpark is never anywhere near full.
On the supercharger voting - I went back to the original tweet where Tesla asked for suggestions in the replies - these were all the Australia locations I could find.
I omitted ones which weren't specific like "Adelaide to Perth" or "up the Queensland coast" or just gave a list of basically every town in a big region.
Good point. Although I (mostly) diligently PlugShare non-SC DCRC, I never do for SC. They always work, and in car nav to them shows activity. (I use Cooma Chargefox and Majura SC every week.)Narooma SC is a good example of this. Plugshare has 8 checkins so far this year. Assuming 10% of those who use this site log it with Plugshare that is 80 uses. Also assuming $25 per use and you have $2000. Less if Plugshare is a more accurate indicator of use here.
Financially would this level of use justify the sight fees, power connection costs, maintenance etc that they would be paying?
Narooma is handy for the Canberra - Narooma - Cooma loop but for those heading further south it is a dead end except for the single point of failure charger at Bega.
Great find! Definitely a supercharger due to the 2x cabinets and the six parking spots labelled "Tesla".According to plugshare there seems to be a 6 bay V3 supercharger being constructed in Shepparton Shepparton | PlugShare
I am in the area tomorrow so will check it out, doesn't show up on Tesla's website that I can see.
It's at least a 40 minute detour, the queue at Euroa would have to be epic to make that worthwhile.A nice surprise one. Not too far off the Hume either if Euroa is busy.
Saw report that Coffs had wait time of more than 30 minutes too...Been reports of 5+ cars queued at some of the Hume superchargers on Facebook today
Been reports of 5+ cars queued at some of the Hume superchargers on Facebook today + which is probably at least 20min.
I was told that Heatherbrae was working even though it showed that in the map.It was also showing Heatherbrae as “Temporarily closed” but it seemed to be back online by 7pm. So no idea what happened there.
