It will be a 2022 Model build in California.

Will there be Summer or Winter tyres on the car ? What size of Tyres will the car come with then ? I may order some Aftermarket Winter or All Season tyres already.

Day one of my EDD if December 1-15 and I’ve caved and emailed my SA for any update on possible VIN timing. Order date was 10/28 and I’m surprised my EDD was not pushed back so far today… the anxiety continues

Got a very fast reply and here it is;

“Hey ———! I got your email regarding your curiosity about your estimated delivery, and know that it is completely understandable. My internal projection is now estimating arrival to the delivery center around December 7th. Again, this can fluctuate, but that is what it is currently showing me so it looks as though that 1st-15th range is relatively accurate…”

Still have no VIN or even a trade in text but we shall see I guess. I realize it takes a few days after they get the car until delivery is ready so if all of this is accurate I’m looking at Dec 10-15th.

*edit* should also mention I am in Phoenix AZ with a MSM, Black, Aero, No FSD

I received a text minutes after my order that said to respond with anything and a CS Agent would call me. I did it once and got a call within 30 minutes. Honestly, contacting Tesla directly works just as well as contacting a sales floor at a local storefront.

Finally received the car yesterday evening, fit and finish are perfect with the exception of missing USB-C ports/non functioning wireless charger.

@Jo060 Did they at least notify you ahead of time? Not exactly strange it's happening because of part shortages but strange owners are not actually made aware prior to delivery

I ordered mine October 20th. Got a vin about 3 weeks prior to delivery. Just got assigned a delivery day today, so it's going to be delivered on the 11th.

I've heard some cars are being delivered without a vin ever showing up -- so hopefully that might be you? :-/

Great to know, esp with my M3LR Aero having a mid-Jan to Feb EDD. Im not one to swap tires during the year so having All Seasons as stock is one fewer hassle for me.

Is there a source for this info?

Those are the tires on my M3LR and I just picked it up 11/20.
