Model 3 Options Pricing

Funny, I see this as pretty decent pricing. Wheel upgrade is only $1,500, vs. $4,500 on an S or X. And the Premium Package includes heated seats and sound upgrade - options I had to pay separately for on my X. I was expecting ~$90k for a fully optioned performance model. AWD and Performance would have to be $30k+ to get to that. Which wouldn't be a complete surprise, but there's no way it will be much more than that.

Both from previous tesla released info.
According to the motor trend article, the trunk alone is 15ft^3.

The prototype’s trunk opening was criticized as too small; now it’s yawning. And at 15 cubic feet, with a very low lift-over and 60/40 folding rear seats, it looks hungry for a surfboard or a bike. (Franz assures me of this; he’s a cyclist.)

I agree. The upgrade price for the battery provides a massive boost in range, and all options that would be affected by the size of the 3 vs the S are cheaper. The AP is the same price, which makes perfect sense because the hardware is the same and the software development wouldn't be any cheaper than an S or an X.

The above is infinitely more informative, than the reveal. I was so excited throughout the earlier portions of the reveal (part 3), and yet so disappointed in the complete absence of information relating to the interior.

May I ask the source of your info?

And by the way thank you for your contribution.

Read the specs carefully. Because of the bundling, it's $5k extra if you want heated seats and mirrors.
