Average from the spreadsheet is 12 days. There are some outliers of 1-4 days. It looks like a week ahead or 2 weeksJune 1st-June 19th here . How soon do people get vins before delivery on average ?

Based on Q1, there isn't any noticable delays yet. In the spreadsheet, the Q1 orders shows deliveries coming in in the last 3 weeks of the quarter. Q2 is the largest quarter of the year so everything could be pushed a bit back relatively speaking. Thanks for sending this. I missed this. Still wonder what the knock on affect is for the delays. As an update: just logged into my acct again, FWIW (and it isn’t much) my delivery dates shifted again to May 31-June 18.
Realize using the word delay is wrong here. Perhaps better term is shifting timeline. While I think it’s great they try to update delivery timing as often as possible, it would be interesting to find out some of the reasons why, for example is it the way they produce vehicle in batches, supply chain issues, transporting vehicles to market, etc.
Well everyone has a rep of some sort... but not everyone has a RELIABLE one. That's the catch..is you have to have one that communicates with you.Same shift here. Back to close to the original dates. I find it interesting that a lot of people on here say things like “talk to your SA” or sales rep. How does one get one of those?
Well I guess you can tell which type I have…. But it HAS only been a few LONG days since I ordered. Maybe someone will reach out…Well everyone has a rep of some sort... but not everyone has a RELIABLE one. That's the catch..is you have to have one that communicates with you.
And I’m not impatiently waiting or anythingWell I guess you can tell which type I have…. But it HAS only been a few LONG days since I ordered. Maybe someone will reach out…
you are one of the lucky ones!My SA called me the next morning after I placed my order. I ordered in the evening. He’s been really responsive to my emails so far.
I actually connected with my SA (well, "Tesla Advisor" - same thing?) when I reached out to [email protected] with a question about my order. He's been the same contact with each correspondence, and also sent me a text with his email and phone for me to use for any future questions. I'm trying not to bug him too much, but it's tempting to ask lots of questions. And I’m not impatiently waiting or anything
It does! Thanks. I’ll give that a shotI actually connected with my SA (well, "Tesla Advisor" - same thing?) when I reached out to [email protected] with a question about my order. Not sure if that helps.
Compared to Q1 there ain’t no delays so far.Tesla is stuck with over 10,000 cars on factory hold, resulting in a logistical nightmare
Tesla has over 10,000 electric cars that came out of Fremont Factory on a “containment hold” and can’t deliver them...electrek.co
Might be why the delay on vins so far
