I am 121532 same configuration as you. What’s your order? I’m 12152 same time window but haven’t heard a word from my SA. Black w white interior NJ
lol, I know, right? It did help me feel even more confident in having placed the order; but the truth is, if I never saw one in person or even got to test drive one, I was going ahead with the order anyway. Thanks for the info! I work about 30 miles from there- am tempted to go see it but am torn. I have a feeling seeing it in person, sitting in it, and maybe even driving will just make the wait worse!
Incredible contrast between the black exterior and predominantly white interior. I like all of the available colors, and there's nothing quite like clean black. How was the black in person? Quickly becoming my favorite color for this car from the pics I’ve seen.
According to SA the hold would prevent vin from being assigned. Some hope timelines won’t change.

What would containment hold mean in this case? The EPA/NHTSA approval? Firmware update hold? The cars aren't coming off of a port...According to SA the hold would prevent vin from being assigned. Some hope timelines won’t change.

Better than originally estimatedAnyone notice the Tesla website site got updated and the model 3 performance now shows a 303 mile EPA est range? Not sure if someone else already commented it..lots of pages of discussion

I’m betting that’s a good sign they got EPA signoff! I’d imagine that was the biggest part (and unknown) of the bottleneck!Anyone notice the Tesla website site got updated and the model 3 performance now shows a 303 mile EPA est range? Not sure if someone else already commented it..lots of pages of discussion
Also says "EPA est." which is what we've been waiting for! ...I think.... lolAnyone notice the Tesla website site got updated and the model 3 performance now shows a 303 mile EPA est range? Not sure if someone else already commented it..lots of pages of discussion
Coming from a MYP , that extra estimated 25 miles is gonna be nice lolWhat is everyone going to do with the extra 7 miles?
I would personally trade my 7 estimated miles for a VIN.![]()
This is good news. The first actual bit of evidence that alludes the EPA issue is now addressed if they are officially posting it on their website. I am hoping this means we will soon see an influx of deliveries/VINS. Not sure if now that it's approved though if a firmware update needs pushed through? Not sure how long those typically take?Anyone notice the Tesla website site got updated and the model 3 performance now shows a 303 mile EPA est range? Not sure if someone else already commented it..lots of pages of discussion
How long does it typically take for them to crank out a firmware update? It seems as though they were waiting for the EPA to finish testing to get an estimated range. That way they can then program the firmware update on the car to match whatever the test results was.
