Self induced Coma. Otherwise, nope. Mine took 6 weeks and it was the LONGEST 6 weeks of my life. I recommend obsessing on it completely and reading every post on this forum and watching every single YouTube video you can find. If you need some help with that, you can feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel. I have about a hundred of 'em.
I don't know that there is a P70 model.
If you want one faster, you can ask the sales folks what they have available in inventory in the CA region to see if they have something close to your configuration.
Did you get a Vin # yet? If not, maybe they can still do an inventory search for you. I think people should consider asking about inventory availability before doing an online order.

I ordered my 85D on 07/10, confirmed on 07/17. My status in MyTesla is still "Your Model S has entered the production queue at our Factory in Fremont, California." VIN is 097585. I feel like I'm being leap-frogged by quite a few orders.

My 7/10/15 order finally went into production. I emailed my DS asking for an updated (MyTesla still shows in prod queue), and he said it went into production on 8/10! I'm hoping for an August delivery still.

I don't think the delivery change has anything to do with the factory power loss! My delivery was also changed from "Late August" to "Late August - September" although my P85D production was finished on July 10th and is in transit since then. Many users have reported the same thing over at the Tesla forum. Seems like an a general (automated?) change.

I don't see what the problem is with the revised delivery dates. Most of them aren't being delayed, they are just being expanded +/- one period to give more leeway for production shifts and variations in shipping times. Delivery estimates are broken down into early/middle (no descriptor)/late to represent roughly 10 day blocks of the month. A delivery estimate of "Late September" would have previously meant September 21-30, whereas now a delivery estimate of "September-Early October" means September 11-October 10. So, it may be delivered a little earlier or later than previously stated, but on average it should be about the same.
