Need some advice. Would I be to annoying if I asked the person I have been in communication with (Customer Exprience Specialist) to give me more updates. I feel like I have not been in the loop for a 100k+ car... My car went into production last week, the next day the estimated delivery was extended, now we are 8 days in Prod and Studio has a more defined delivery date but I have not gotten any updates from the CES during the entire process other than the initial email when ordered was confirmed... I don't not have a DS assigned to me, I guess.

The initial email should have the contact info for your delivery specialist.

- - - Updated - - -

My time frame just shifted to early January. I really hope I get it sooner.

This morning My Tesla page got updated with: "Production Complete - Your Model S is in transit from the factory"
The estimated delivery date was previously showing as Nov 30-Dec 14, but that's now been updated to "November 27 - December 4, 2015" !!

getting closer...

latest update - just got a call from my DS - my car should be arriving at the SC by tomorrow!! (2 trucks arriving: 1 today, 1 tomorrow). Delivery scheduled for next Wed 12/2.
Apparently the SC is very busy with seat belt recalls, and I guess pre-delivery inspection etc takes a couple days.

Coincidentally I will be at the SC tomorrow for trade-in assessment, if lucky I might get a sneak peak of my new car

I talked to my DS every couple of days when it was in production and he was able to give me much better updates than simply "in production". He was able to tell me when it was in "body and white" stage, in "end of line QA", and then finally when it was on a truck and where the truck was spending the night (St. Louis). My car still said "in production" all the way until it was delivered to the Tesla store, so I wouldn't feel bad about asking for updates.

f-stop, hope you enjoyed your delivery day and new car!! If you take any photos please share if you don't mind. My configuration is *identical* to yours (just no AP) - excellent choices sir ;-)

My car has been in complete/in-transt for 9 days. I'm assuming by next week the car will be at least be in the NJ SC and maybe even available for delivery if I'm lucky. Can't wait, just hope the chademo adapter and evgo/chargepoint cards come in sometime next too.

Enjoy your MS and cheers!

thanks jborak! - will try to get some pics if I get a peek at my car tomorrow - though it'll be super frustrating if it's already there since my actual delivery appointment isn't until Wednesday.
But if not tomorrow then photos will definitely be part of the plan next week onwards (or f-stop ain't my username). Lucky for me it's a short truck ride up I-5 from Fremont to here, so transit time was very quick.
Hope your car arrives soon too! oh, and I already got my chargepoint card in the mail a couple weeks ago, all ready to go...

10 Nov 2015 - Down payment
17 Nov 2015 - Order confirmed; part sourcing begun
18 Nov 2015 - Assigned a VIN
19 Nov 2015 - Financed partial payment through 3rd party bank
20 Nov 2015 - Entered production queue
24 Nov 2015 - Entered assembly line

That seems pretty quick to me! [So far.] Waiting for impact of loan to appear on MyTesla page so we can make final cash payment. Long oliday weekend has brought everything to a halt.

as mentioned, my delivery isn't until this-coming Wednesday (~141hrs from now, but who's counting?), but was as the SC today for my trade-in inspection and to talk to my DS and service dept. Very impressed so far with the staff I spoke to there. Plus got to see my new MS which arrived by truck last night!

The SC parking lot probably had about 25+ new Model S waiting for delivery prep & detailing - not just for Vancouver but apparently all Western Canada. So any of you in BC/AB/SK/MB expecting delivery soon, maybe I saw your car today. A few quick photos of my Deep Blue 70D:

I just entered production 11/25 (confirmed 11/17) with delivery estimate 12/14-12/21. I believe our delivery specialist in Houston is Whitney, I got her email from my "Your Model S has entered Production" email. Good luck! Looks like I'll get my car before Xmas after all :)

Oh wow, we might be getting ours at the same time! I was told Whitney will be mine also but she is not the person I'm in communication with until it's in transit he said... Got to say, not impressed with the guy I'm dealing with at all... He didn't even tell me when it went into Prod until I emailed him 9 days later!

There seems to be a a degree of 'under-promise, over-deliver' thats spans the different regions. I agree with your earlier comment about having some level of expectation for the amount of purchase.

Delivery was made today at 3pm. What an amazing day! She's absolutely beautiful...and I'm so happy with my options / colors. It's just gorgeous. For those that are concerned that 70D is not "fast enough" you are NUTS. Yes, I know, a P90DL would be, well, Ludicrous but I'm so happy with the 70D. I love that the acceleration from a stop is just as impressive as the acceleration from starting at 30 or 50. It's awesome.

So happy to be a part of the family.
