Placed my order on 8/9/ VIN is 20039. Estimated delivery is 9/20.

Amazing to see those VINs in the 20,000's! Congrats!

The factory took the first week of the new year off. And, after some retooling, they then started producing 60 kWh cars for many of us long-time 60 reservation holders. My 60 - VIN 3552 - was among the early cars.

So, they're effectively on track to produce atleast ~16,500 cars by 09/20.

Ordered 8/10 and confirmed 8/12. Delivery date 9/26.

Vin # is 20077.

Placed my order on 8/10 as well, confirmed on the 18th. Vin is 20554. Quite a jump in number but maybe it's because mine is a Canadian delivery. Estimated delivery in late September. Sept 26 is my 40th birthday, would be great timing!

Broke down and drove 3 hrs through traffic today to do another test drive while I wait for sept 9th delivery. Car is even better! Toronto has a car with the parking sensors too!

Just a heads-up, I went into your photo and edited out your RNxxxxxx.

Note to all: It's unlikely that anyone will use your actual reservation number, but under certain circumstances if someone criminal has your real name and your 6-digit RN they might be able to do something unpleasant like getting themselves a refund on your deposit.

Confirmed my order on Aug. 16th. My VIN ends in 205xx.
Just received a call from the SC stating that my car should be ready by mid to late Sept!!! I was expecting October. Hopefully the Sept. timeline stays true!

Confirmed my order on 8/12, got VIN 20001 (so close!). Original pickup at the factory was 8/29, but had to push it to 9/4 due to being out of town. Hopefully the date holds. Can't wait!

DS called today and says car will be ready even earlier than expected. Picking car up Thursday!

I considered medically induced coma to survive those last few days before my delivery date.

You may be able to 'try' to connect now but for obvious reason they will have the ability to fully contact the car until delivery. They don't want you honking the horn/opening the pano roof quite yet.

Quick question for you all...

I finalized on Saturday and received my VIN yesterday. Tesla personal dashboard says "Estimated Delivery: September." However, I am wondering when I would expect to get a more detailed delivery date. Also, does "Estimated Delivery: September" pretty much always mean September or could this shift to October?

I have a "Late September" estimated delivery date, but seeing other people with their recent deliveries -- I'm thinking it will be more like early/mid October. Not that I would complain if it was late September.

You probably should contact Tesla to get an update. I confirmed yesterday, got a VIN a couple of hours later and then, based on an email with someone, got a call from my DS that gave me a tentative delivery date of Sept. 27th; car scheduled to come off the production line on Sept. 9th.
