Mesalum, saw your note last night about being in production, looked you up on this wonderful spreadsheet and was a little bummed to see you're VIN is just a tad earlier than mine and I wasn't "in production". However, woke up today to an e-mail saying "in production"... It's go time!

Yesterday, my plain MS 85 VIN 60746, confirmed 9/20, went into production.

You're probably right! Based on the spreadsheet it may only take 4-5 days to be built. DWeeks see you are in AZ also maybe we'll be in Scottsdale at the same time picking them up?!!

Does it seem to anyone else from the spreadsheet the P85D cars entering production has really slowed down?

That's been being discussed a bit over in the P85D thread. I really don't think we have enough vehicles on the sheets to draw any conclusions.

And mine -- 63548 -- isn't. Just another bullet to point out to those who keep asking for VIN that the VIN doesn't mean much when it comes to production. Given that my delivery guestimate is Dec 15-30 (pick up at the factory) I'm hoping mine will enter production some time next week.

jay and mesalum - your cars should be ready soon... the wait will be all worth it. you will be awake the whole night the night before the delivery. :wink:

I've asked my DS how long it takes for cars to go from "in production" to Scottsdale delivery, but she has not responded.

Dweeks... live in the Phoenix area - west side. I have Lauren as a DS, she stays very vague/general in regards to timing. I asked her the very same question yesterday and she said the timing of the delivery varies widely blah blah blah... Would sure like to take delivery before Christmas.

That was fast since I went into production Thursday pm and it's complete Saturday am.

I wouldn't worry about it. They probably just built you one of the new Tesla motorcycles instead of a Model S.

Wow, 2 days later with the status change of Production Complete, Your Model S is being prepared for pickup or delivery. DWeeks we're getting close!

S85, 60799, awaiting delivery to Scottsdale. Finished production 12/2, heard nothing all week from DS, finally called local service center and begged for help/update. Heard back an hour later form DS that it would be in Scottsdale Wed 12/10. My schedule is tight, so will be getting it on Friday the 12th. Very excited!

Not yet "In Production" for my S85 but the Pay button and MVPA have shown up. The MVPA says delivery on or about Dec 15. I'll take that as a positive sign!
