Unresponsive DS was my biggest frustration as well.
As for the 3rd row seats, you might want to check your VIN against the recall coverage on TESLA website.
VIN Recall Search | Tesla Service

Thanks for the link sukhi but when I put in my link it says "error 91" not sure what that means. In fact when I put in the VIN of our current S, it also gives the same "error 91" so not sure how well the link works. In addition the page says it was last updated January 16 2016, so....

My DS is in Dania (Travis). He too doesn't seem to get any feedback from Fremont re: when the cars are actually produced. But he did state that it was after the 3/26 cutoff for the 3rd row. I ordered mine pretty max-ed out - P90DL, premiums on sound and interior, even got the winter package (cuz ya never know...).

Ah different DS, mine is Phil. Seeing you're a P90DL I'd bet you're on the same truck as mine, as the P90DL were supposed to get priority. Keep me posted, would be interesting to see how it all plays out. My guess was the P90DL's not yet delivered were those who ordered fairly recently circa 2014/2015. I guessed Tesla was trying to get a few of the 90D's out to those who were early adopters (reserved circa 2012), so they halted production for a while. Again this is all just my speculation, I don't get on this board much so there is I am sure a thread probably proving me wrong. I pretty much got everything I could with the exception of winter package and the $10k ludicrous.

I wonder why in my tesla under delivery it says: your tesla will be delivered to your home or work.
I do live 300 miles away from nearest tesla store.
Has any one seen a message like that? Anyone taken a home delivery

I brought a personal check to delivery and didn't hand it over until we had finished inspecting the vehicle. It wasn't a problem at all.

My understanding is that this varies by delivery state, so there may not be an overall rule given the disparities in state auto sales laws. For example, I believe Arizona buyers have to pay in full before the car is shipped from California because Tesla isn't technically allowed to sell cars in AZ. They can sell you a car in CA, but ship it to AZ though.

Yes, this is a good thing to point out here. However, @WilliamZ appears to be in California (like me).
