Nope. Driving at speed limits, 110 km/h on this section, with some at 90 and also secondary roads at 80. Normal driving. An average of 190Wh/km in 200km??
Were you cruising at 60km/h???

So I averaged 416wh/mi (280wh/km) over the first 625mi (1,000km) in cold December weather with the 2021 performance model, most of it at highway speeds (75mi/h or 120km/h) with three people in the car. Seems quite high to me, any other experiences?

That's on a good day for me. I average 500+ wh/mi. I only commute 3 miles/day so I like to stretch my legs during the 5 minutes to work.

Depending on the model month, your rated range would be 285 or 295 miles (IIRC), but that's from 100%. To get rated range, you would need to average around 340 WH/Mi. Since you are averaging 573 WH/Mi, you are consuming an EXTRA 233 WH/Mi. You're burning 168.5% of the allotted electrons by the rating, and 285/1.685 would allow for roughly 169 miles at 100%. 169*.9=152.1, so 148 miles at 90% doesn't seem too far off at all, assuming I've done the correct math. The 22 inch wheels and the cold will definitely both affect range, but IMO, there doesn't appear to be a battery issue here.I did see the Wh/mi is in the mid-500s and range at 90% charge is like 148 miles.
Lifetime average on my 20" wheeled 2021 LR+ is 365 wh/mi so far, mostly commuting with a lot of highway and a lot of short trips, average outside temp has been about 35f. Looking forward to seeing what the mild weather performance is like. Consumption so far has been 10-20% better than I was expecting, it is still under 1000 miles and been cold, and I've not been gentle nor have the trips or anything else really been done with efficiency in mind.
Also, the charge curve is pretty nice, 32 to 70% in 26 minutes on a 150kw supercharger, and 32-45 in about 7 minutes.
My 2016 X P100DL has averaged 490 Wh/mi over the past 30,603 miles.Brand new to the Tesla community, appreciate any thoughts.
Just picked up our CPO 2017 model X 100D yesterday. Love it but I did see the Wh/mi is in the mid-500s and range at 90% charge is like 148 miles.
Lot of factors - live in Chicago (so all city driving so far), 30 degrees outside, and the car came with 22 inch black all season tires which I’ve heard can all reduce efficiency/range. No cargo.
Does this seem in range with expectations? Or something I need to bring up to SC?
