Really a great review! I've read it like 7 times! LoL

Personally, I am not a big fan of Tesla's OEM 21" so I had my wheels produced (21' x F: 9.5/R: 10.5 x F: 40/R: 48) which I plan to wrap with Michelin All Season 4's F: 265 x 40 and R: 295 x 40. I would assume the set up will work for the Standard Model Y RWD as well?

Also, is anyone running a different tire in these sizes, such as the Conti Extreme Contact DWS06+? Looking for something I can leave on year-round on my MYP, but still do well in snow.
Yes, for about 20K miles I've run Conti DWS 06+ in 265 & 295/40-21 on stock uberturbines. These are A+ all-seasons with zero issues. The choice was based on 1) excellent experience with the same tires on a BMW X3 (sold) and 2) price -- several hundred less than the comparable Pilot AS4 (I think they're called).

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. So tempted to do this right now before the snow falls, but not sure there's much market for used OEM tires. My MYP only has 7K miles on it, so trying to convince myself I might as well get as many miles as I can out of them before making the switch.

Does this work? I want to stick with Costco for the larger tires. I asked in person and they said no. Im almost at 30k stock.

Regarding Costco, I get the impression that:
If you try to order these bigger tires for the MYP, they will say no.
If you order the tires themselves without specifying the vehicle, the order will go through and they will put it on.

Make sense?

That's what I plan to do when it's time for new tires on my MYP. At about 1k miles now so it'll be a while yet.
