Nice, did it take long to install, was there a long wait to schedule them in? You happy with it?

Needs about 10 days notice
Everything is good except the anti-rattle bolt solution - really awkward. Too hard to use an anti-rattle U bolt (that’s due to Tesla’s design). Hopefully an anti-rattle lipped plate will work

Probabloy worth mentioning that the Towbar Guys are in Melbourne and Carasel are Sydney (and maybe elsewhere)
So i've got the Tesla towing kit installed.
I'm getting a Thule 3 bike carrier which is towball mounted. So the towball comes with the Thule bike carrier so I just need to source a hitch (why Tesla doesn't supply these in Aust is beyond me).
I'm in inner east melb if anyone knows of a better place than Repco or Autobarn.
So just checking, is it a 52mm I need?

That Autobarn hitch is 51 mm according to the dimensional drawing. The Repco hitch is 52 mm according to the title, but no GA provided. 2 inches is 50.8 mm.
FWIW I have the Tesla tow bar. I have a 2 inch hitch that measures 51 mm on the tape. It's got plenty of room in the fit to the Tesla hitch receiver. More than I'd like.
Hi I just ordered the EV stealth and the same bike rack as you did. I spoke with the guys at EV Stealth. FYI they told me that the tow hitch has a life time warranty but the install has a 12 month warranty.
Has anyone bought and fitted the EV Towing Australia bar?

Just reporting a very successful supply and fit of a tow bar on my MY today by Carasel in Seven Hills (Sydney).
Did while I waited and looks to be a neat and efficient job. No marks on the bumper, and all bits supplied (tow ball, tongue/goose neck, etc).
$1450 all up. Install and bar warranted by Carasel.
Very happy.

Nice. We are about to get one to carry our Thule bike rack.
Does it come with a 7 pin plug?

We have the platform carrier from Thule as well. It's also better for your bikes if they are carbon frames.

Yep, 7 pin plug mounted behind the black plastic cover. Nice touch is that when you lift the cover of the plug, a tiny LED illuminates the sockets to assist with plugging in at night.

nice. seriously considering this option over the Tesla oem version. Not sure i'll ever tow anything larger than the bike carrier or maybe a small box trailer.

That's my situation too. This is set up will suit me perfectly (and save some money). If you are in Sydney I would recommended Carasel.
