I picked a 3 up in March '21, it was all signed on a tablet on the day.Without any further updates beyond my confirmed delivery slot, my account today let's me make payment now.
I also have the contracts and pre-contract agreements, they have areas for signing... do we sign them on the day? it doesn't instruct me to sign and return them nor to bring them with me?
Can someone who's done it before shed some light on this thanks?

Yes, exactly the same. I've had the VIN for about a week but still no EDD. I received a "Tesla Update - Your vehicle is on the way. Your arrival date is being calculated.." text message earlier today so hopefully I'll see a delivery date soon.
I think it's just something they left in from the US, where the bank may not have actually transferred the money by delivery day.
Here, where a transfer takes a few seconds, it's not needed - they certainly didn't ask for anything when I picked up my model 3.
