Hello everyone, ordered a CPO model S earlier this week, headed to KC tomorrow to pick it up. Will post pics if people are interested.

I inquired about that with my most recent purchase and they said I couldn't get it waived. I was actually taking a trip to CA immediately after receiving the car so it was kind of silly, but I paid the 1k fee, picked the car up in Seattle, then drove to CA. This was March 2018. Perhaps they changed the policy since you bought your most recent Tesla.

Awesome! Just curious why did you go with the CPO S, versus a 3?
Mine was actually an S. It's possible my delivery guy gave me bad info though. I didn't press too hard. He did say I could pick it up in CA but the fee wouldn't be waived (and I thought it was 1k, not 2k). In the end, due to the uncertainty of the exact delivery time and the fact that I wanted the car ASAP, I just decided it was easier to take delivery in Seattle. After further review, I think you're right, atleast on the 1k for Model 3. The 2k for X and S is still removable.
Hey all,
Model 3 owner out in Grand Island here. I preordered online, sight unseen (before the reveal event started), and I finally took delivery on May 18th. I opted for home delivery, and Tesla didn't disappoint - covered delivery trailer and everything.
It's. Amazing. I'll upload a current picture after I pick up my custom plates tomorrow.
Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself. I hope I can make it to some future meetups!
Awesome! Was yours the only car on the truck? Not sure if you chatted with the driver at all. I see Tesla’s transported on open carriers all the time. Yours is the first I’ve seen in a covered carrier. Pretty nice! I’ve been considering home delivery, but have been worried about the experience/issues with the car.
You can add the single plate designation to a normal license plate anytime. You have to pay the extra fee ($75) and put a sticker in your front window.
That's a beautiful looking car! I guess you are best off getting the specialty plate then.
Thank you! I'm pretty happy with it even with the front plate.
Just in case there are Model 3 owners who haven't seen this, there is a third party company making a wireless charging pad for the 3. Mine is supposed to arrive in a week or two. They've hinted they're going to come out with something similar for the S and X as well.
I'll be curious to hear your review of the charging pad when it comes. I was thinking about ordering it, but then I saw they were having issues with getting them produced and shipped out (sounds like another company I know ). Still might buy one, but waiting for more feedback before I pull the trigger. Let us know your thoughts!
Sorry to change the subject....
But OPPD just updated their rebate page. They now list exactly how many rebates are left instead of a dollar amount. Only a few charging station rebates gone, but no EV rebates yet. I'm sure that will change very quickly as people are starting to get their new ones registered.
That's amazing! I bet you get more than 40 mph charging with 80 amps right? I can get almost 30 mph on my Leaf with a 32 amp connection.Absolutely! Will do.
Speaking of charging and reviews, I can highly recommend the Tesla Wall Connector. I have it running on an 80A connection (overkill for the Model 3), but that amperage gives a minimum of 40 m/hr charge regardless of whether it's charging an S/3/X.

P.S. I'm jealous of that OPPD rebate!

And don't be too jealous, only a select few will get it. 50 is a pretty tiny incentive. (but I'm still glad they did it regardless)
