Newbie Question - Unplugging CCS @ Superchargers

Hey All,

Supercharged 3 times now and it seems fiddly trying to get the actual CCS adaptors out, before putting them in the car. Are they locked in some way or is it just a certain technique.

Or maybe I have been unlucky as the first charge was all fine!

Up, then out.

Just don't catch the other one as it may fall out on its own and with such a short lead, its likely to quickly fall towards the car.

Push in, lift, pull out.

I don't even have a CCS connector on my car, but I've done it for a few puzzled M3 owners now.

I don't think you've been unlucky. They are, generally, a bit difficult to unhook.

Some at Scotch Corner are really stiff

I would say you are doing it wrong then. Really not much movement required. Slight upward movement then pull out to remove. No force required.

Some of them do need force, some are wedged in pretty tight.

There’s one at South Mimms which is a particularly tight fit. Most come out easy with the right in-up-out move

Some of them really do need force, honestly! Amazingly, the first one I ever tried was irredeemably stuck ... I tried the one in the next stall and it was fine.
