This is old info, I think, except I don't think I've seen a reference to a rear-impact test before. I also couldn't find that on the NHTSA site. Anyone have any more info?
I thought the IIHS said they were not going to be testing the Model S because of low sales volume. Maybe next year they will test it. Not sure if Tesla has a say in that process.
Tesla should hope they don't test the Model S yet.
Without the brake assist and other active accident avoidance technologies, cars can't get their best ratings.
