Hello all,
Here in France we have a CHAdeMO station manufacturer called DBT, which have a very bad reputation concerning the reliability of the station.
Now we have the CHAdeMO adapter available, we found that the charging power on this station is limited to 25kW. In fact they use Nissan charger inside, thus it's a world problem on all station with Nissan hardware inside.
On another topic, hiroshiy tolds Japan Nissan's station are limited by Model S's firmware to 25kW.
I just found this information, and is also true for all Nissan's station in the world !!
I confirmed this information myself by sniffing the CAN bus between the CHAdeMO adapter and a DBT charging station with Nissan hardware inside.
In the session I done, I seen that the station indicates 107A is available, but the car only request 68A of current consign !! Which is 25kW because I was at 370V.
I some guy are interested I can post a copy of the CAN bus data I recorded, but I will not explain the CHAdeMo protocol in detail (I bought the official CHAdeMO specification for my personal interest).
Regards,
Cyril

Here is how I connected to the CHAdeMO signals, GND , +12V, CAN_H, CAN_L
