It probably looked like this.. I got the pop up todayI just received the option to vent for the first time on my ‘22 MYP this evening. I should have taken a picture of the pop-up on the screen.
You must have close windows on lock set.So, I got the feature, but who is this supposed to work? I put the windows down, but it seems everytime I go look the car as put them back up
can you leave the windows down and have the car lock? what if u have a pet or something in there and its nice out and u just wanna lock the door so the alarm goes off if someone opens it?Update, My 2nd Model Y now also as the option to vent windows.
The other night, befor ethe option was enabled, my wife was at church. She got a Tesla App message that she left the window open on her car in the parking lot. She went out and verified the passenger window was open a little so sho closed it. With the ability to have windows close automatically when the car is locked it would have eliminated that issue.
I did verify that if any window is open when the car automatically locks that the windows all close. Cool!
Also curious about this. I’d also like to know if the car will go to sleep if the windows are in vent mode.can you leave the windows down and have the car lock? what if u have a pet or something in there and its nice out and u just wanna lock the door so the alarm goes off if someone opens it?
i'm 99% sure it willAlso curious about this. I’d also like to know if the car will go to sleep if the windows are in vent mode.
Really, really stupid feature. How long until a child/dog gets killed because of this?I did verify that if any window is open when the car automatically locks that the windows all close. Cool!
I remember this was mentioned as an upcoming feature however it is not implemented yet to my knowledge. Could also be one of those Elon promises the never happen. This was a year ago bv the way. Teslas Will Soon Automatically Close Parked Car Windows In The Rain | Carscoops.Does this feature use the rain sensing wipers to close the vented windows if it starts to rain?
just use the fart function to ventBut when I press vent I get the warning that I will not be able to
Remotely close them…..are you saying that’s not true?
