Any idea if Tesla (or Elon) will publish November M3 production numbers since it's not an 'end of quarter'?

To my knowledge, Tesla never releases official production numbers other than at quarterly intervals.

Just when I had pretty much ruled out red, it comes back into contention. I've never had such hard time deciding on color on any other car purchase.

You won’t know until you see it in person. I didn’t much care about color until I saw the blue in person— now I want blue!

But I haven’t seen the other colors in person yet, so they may wow me even more.

I work a mile away but still glad I didn't go there during lunch today. I wasn't sure if they had a guard or not.

I saw my first model 3 in the wild yesterday in Laguna Niguel at Rancho Niguel and Greenfield. It was silver and at first approaching it from side back kind of looked like a mx to me and then I realized it was a m3 and it looked absolutely beautiful...like, really really really good

Historically not until quarter end. Conference call referenced a January update.

You can tell how different the blue can look by that small light patch in the back. Front 95% looks like a dark blue, that part looks light blue.

It appears as though many new M3's are being released lately. But we haven't seen any sign of new VIN's be registered have we? That may be a better sign of bottleneck issues being resolved one would think.

Good point. As others have pointed out, there’s another 1,500 Tesla needs to get through. I’m personally hoping that those 1,500 VINs will be done by mid December. Which would indicate about a 400-500 run rate per week. If anyone has time to check with NHTSA, please report that information here so it could be extrapolated.

You need to don a Tesla logoed button down shirt with a clipboard, and when security comes up to you, you need to ask them where the blue car with VIN #674 went to, and show them your list that you are checking off, all Fletch-like. Tell them your manifest shows that VIN #674 should be here and that there will be hell to pay if you can't find it. Ask him for his badge number and ask to see the security video for the last 48 hours.

I still get excited when I see a Model S, and I've owned one for more than two years. I'm pretty sure I'm still going to be excited about Model 3s a year from now.

I'm sure the excitement will still be there, just not the clamoring for photos at every sighting.
