A favorite ploy of people arguing against change of any kind.
Plans. There were plan to drill for oil but those were shut down.
Is there any sign this admin has or will approve mining permits? I haven't seen any and their past record is they won't either.
I tend to agree. Although it's just fact. Not making a political statement, just saying dems don't typically allow drilling or mining. Nobody should take offense to it, it's true.
Since the subject is needing more American mines, it's applicable. Just like dems shutting down coal.
I hope the current admin and states do approved permits for mining.
Unfortunately it's almost impossible to have a full discussion on anything today with it eventually mentioning politics. Politics has interjected itself in everything today.
Oh I agree on the politics getting into everything. I try not to go there especially with the way things are these days. I don’t take offense to it I guess I’m just tired of seeing/hearing it everywhere I go.
I think I would be good if we produce more stuff here instead of relying on imports.

So let me get this straight. You nutbags think that you can force people to pay for things via taxation against their will, and then call them hypocrites when they use the program that they are forced to pay for?
I would prefer not to have been forced to pay into social security for 30 years now. Had I been a representative, I would have voted against it. So by that logic, when I start to receive social security I will then be a hypocrite?

The whole argument for feel good but specious spending is that if you don’t want “good thing”, you must want “bad thing”.
There is no diversity of ideas nor middle ground when dealing with zealots and those who seek to exploit them for gain whether it be power, money or both.

Does he get back all of his money back from the time he was forced to pay into social security with interest and the lost opportunity cost? If so, I agree. Isn't social security going bankrupt anyways? Or is this just more of "printer goes blurrrrrrrr.." type of thing where printing money does not cause inflation, but actually reduce inflation that people keep telling me about?
Government force you at gun point to pay for x item or risk going to jail. Then you complain about being forced.. Now government takes away said item that you were forced to pay for because you complained. Seriously, this sounds like dark varder type of bs:
"I'm altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it any further."
