There are reports on Facebook that some people have just found summon appearing in their app despite not having FSD or EAP

Yes, just appeared in my app. Had to go out to the car to enable it in the car, which it says is beta.

Haven't had the bottle to try summoning the car yet.

OK, just been out, I think I may have FSD, with Mad Max Mode?

Not got time to drive straight away but did move the car backwards and forwards a few metres, then naturally tried and failed to get smart summon to work.

Wonder if this is a beginnings of a 'free trial' for FSD subscription?

Just checked my App (also updated it at the same time) and I don't have it.

I'd be happy with just a very basic version to be able to move the car a foot to make cleaning all around the wheels and tyres easier.

For those who are or aren't seeing it, you might want to list your phone app version in addition to your firmware version, as @Rajanm1 mentions. The phone app was recently updated to 3.10.10.

Nothing in my app (Latest released version 3.10.10 and 2021.4.12 car FW), I don't even have an upgrades section in my app, I assume because mine is a leased car.

That's right, upgrades were removed from the app for lease cars ages ago.

Word around the campfire is that Tesla have gifted EAP to people (no idea how many) until the end of the month.

Check under your car information to see if you have "Enhanced Autopilot" and when it runs out.

EDIT: Multiple reports on the Tesla Owners UK Facebook group. Some people have got it, others haven't. If you have Summon in the app, you have it as it's part of the EAP suite.

I've got it, I'm on 2021.4.11 and 3.10.9 app (android). Just been out to test summon driving it 2 steps forward and 2 steps back. Weird, also quite noisy as it engages the motor.

Only had autosteer enabled before, now I've enabled NoA, visualisation and summon, will go for a drive in an hour. As mentioned above, it shows enhanced autopilot to the end of the month - will it prove to be worth £3,400?

It means that's the end of quarter and Elon wants as many people to buy EAP as possible
