Is anyone else unable to review the release notes? After installing this version and seeing the release note screen once I can no longer call up the notes. I just see a blank box. Is this happening to anyone else?

I also received the 2018.39.7 update at 6:30pm. Must be bug fixes. I don't see anything different.

Did it made the mini car display on the IC less glitchy? I am on 39.6 and the IC display is great for blind spots (thanks Tesla!), but he cars jump around a lot when they are on your side and some even crash into my car picture.

Yes that was happening to me on 39.6. I just got 39.7 so not sure if it’s fixed.

Looks like my car has tried to download the new update a few times, but guessing something is preventing it from being installed

Also got 39.7 just now. I’m hoping it fixes the major nav freezes I had today. Car location wouldn’t update through multiple mcu reboots. Sound kept cutting out. Had to fully power down and restart before it finally unstuck my car location and gave me nav updates again.

I am having the same glitches in 39.6. Here’s to hoping it’s fixed in 39.7!

So I just got back from about a 100 mile round trip with some buddies after installing the update. Nothing new, definitely a bug fix release. Just wonder what bugs...

Side note: I really love sending directions to the car via my smartphone. Major time saver!

I find this funny. People like you would be the first to complain if Tesla didn't fix bugs.

Got the notification this morning about an hour or so ago, my first app-initiated install.

Won't be driving for about two more hours so no idea what's in the update.

So this will either (a) prove the convenience of initiating an install from the app or (b) prove to be a bad idea which I will never do again.

2014 Model S 85, no AP so not just going to 2.5 cars. Came from 2018.39.6.

I presume it doesn't. You send a location to the car and the car navigates to it using the standard nav system. You're not sending it a route, so you're just saving the step of typing or saying the destination.

FWIW 39.6.1 also showed me an empty release note box no matter how many scroll wheel resets I do.
