Software update bricked my car

It sounds like the update was one write too many to the eMMC in the MCU, maybe?
Flash has a finite life span, and from what I understand older versions of the Tesla software generated a ton of log files. I don't think current versions are so write-heavy.
 
Similar issue. Paid $1,500 for the new MCU(?) 2.5 months ago. The most recent update appears to have completely fried/bricked both batteries. $12,000 to fix, and I can't imagine they're going to offer any guarantees that it won't happen again.
I don't see how a software update can reasonably be blamed for causing a high voltage battery to fail...
