Thank you!The car will tell you if it has an update staged for you. If it doesnt say it has one for you, in most cases, your car is not ready to get it... no matter what you read about different software versions "seen on teslafi or tesla scope or whatever".
And your Tesla phone app will also advise you.Just don't worry about it. When update is available, the car will let you know. Get concerned if you get no updates in 3-4 weeks.
....and your Apple Watch if you have one.And your Tesla phone app will also advise you.
How do I tell if I need a software update? I can't see it on my app nor in my car's screen. Does that mean i have the latest software update? Does it say, "Your software is up to date?" Advanced thanks!!
This is the way.go out to your car and press the advanced update button 5 times. Wait 23 minutes. Then put your car in reverse, roll back a few feet. The pull of forward a few feet, but a little more that where it was originally. Then go back in side. If you need an update the car will send you a notification usually within 2 weeks.
My understanding is that the increase is only applicable to 2021 Y and 3's.I update to .12 and my new M3P doesn’t show increased range. Any idea why and how to figure out what size battery I have?
I have a 2021 3PMy understanding is that the increase is only applicable to 2021 Y and 3's.

Just got the message for 2020.48.26.
But, boom box you say? Would be nice if the SR+’s system wasn’t such gar-baj.
The clunks, clicks, whirs and boatload of error messages as systems come back online can be downright terrifying.
Wait what? It makes clunks, clicks, and whirring sounds? Now I have to sit and watch
Not that I get the new Boombox or anything
As another game, try sitting in your garage for while. Read a book or something, just listen to the various noises your car makes while its "off" - then you'll understand all those threads on here about those crazy noises.
Well you forgot to include........ Close your eyes, click your ruby red slippers 3 times, and say "there is no update like Teslas".go out to your car and press the advanced update button 5 times.
