SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Ordered SR+ October 8th, haven't heard a word since (other than that text message a week ago) and today I got an email stating that I need to upload insurance and finalize my trade-in to get matched with a VIN. I had already done both two weeks ago, and my account states the typical "We are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment."

Is there something else I could be missing?
Call your SA to get strait ASAP. This is what I did just to avoid this kind of situation.

omg!! I ordered the same config on 10/21 in SB, hoping I'm right behind u!!

i bet you get it SO SOON!!! checked this morning and nada and then tried again just now and there it was. called the SA and spoke to someone who said she was new. at first she said usually 1 week between VIN and delivery. but could be 2 weeks since VIN wasn't visible on the page, just in source code. She looked up the vin and said the car is still at the factory.

I ordered on 11/11 via Lease (Black, SR, non-FSD, AP, 18 aero wheels) and have not heard a peep since. I didn't realize there was a Tesla support chat option on their website. I referenced my order number and was able to connect with a Deliver Specialist right away. They said they were waiting for me to upload my insurance. I said the Account page was misleading because it says 'Once your VIN is assigned, then you can search for Tesla insurance' or 'use your own insurance'. I am over here thinking I am going to wait to get VIN assigned THEN look for Tesla insurance but the specialist said that would prolong my delivery. Uploaded a copy of my insurance and said I will get VIN assigned in 2 weeks, then priority delivery goes to whoever's account has everything Tesla has requested.

they told me the same, so I uploaded my current insurance and they let me know as soon as I get my VIN i will be able to get a Tesla Insurance quote.

where is the chat feature? I just get linked to support documentation and email support...
 
Update, got vin in source code this morning, called my delivery location about an hour ago to ask for updates on my order. Rep tells me i have a vin assigned now and told me to hold on while he pings my car to see if it'll wake up, he was able to get a location response and "as of 1 min ago it is in the Fremont Lot waiting for a truck". He then gives me the scheduled arrival date (friday) and asked me when i can pick up (up to 3 days after arrival). Tesla account now shows vin and a scheduled pickup.

*Edit* I probably have one of the most helpful and resourceful rep around?
