Thanks for sharing this! Now I wonder if this has any impact on the insurance premium, as the lane departure avoidance system will be disabled at delivery...

Ok, so reported delays due to firmware update are likely related. And now they are having issues and disabling features so deliveries can happen.

However, I was told by the Kansas CIty SC that the firmware updates did not apply to the model 3's...and that they are still good to be delivered.

Cant Login to see if I was given a VIN. Didn't have one earlier today though.

Hey guys, I ordered a SR+ In deep blue metallic and black interior on May 17th. Can I expect delivery in June? Does it matter the color of the car when it comes to delivery? I only ask because I have to trade in my current car and wanted to know when I should start looking up trade it in.

I ordered SR+ in metallic Grey and was told that I should get a VIN around May 31 as that was the expected date it would come off the assembly line. Delivery would be mid June since I'm in Toronto

Got a call back from my SA this morning to answer a couple questions and they told me they're going to start building cars for the US on June 10th (First I've ever heard of this but im also new to everything.) and I should expect mine late June early July.

I ordered on May 9th.
