I don't know what's the advantages with AMD and 12v. Just give me my car already. That's all I want.

The CPU speed for one. Intel Atom vs AMD Ryzen, AMD hands down. It's 100x speedier.

Anybody know how feasible it is to sell a reservation? I’ve got a M3 on order at a much lower price point than ordering today and decided I need a Y. It seems like a shame to waste that price point, an earlier delivery date, and my $250 deposit.

Contacted to take delivery: 12/4 (paying cash but didn’t pay)
Delayed delivery until 1/10

Removed from hold today and waiting for a delivery date.

Odd. I never manually removed my hold, but I just logged into my account and noticed the "lifting hold" option is no longer there. My EDD is now TBD.

This happened to me on Monday 12.27 and several other people in the AWD LR waiting room. I'm still TBD. Someone mentioned they were TBD until after their hold date passed .

Lifted mine around 12/15, EDD of 1/10-2/7, still waiting for a VIN :/

So I lifted the hold this morning and then a few hours later I got a VIN assigned with an est. delivery date of Dec 29 to 31. I checked again a few hours later, VIN is gone but est date is the same.

The Atom e3950 came out in late 2016, so yes any processor upgrade would see massive speed up by today’s standards. IMO it would have been better if they stuck with Intel, since intel has their own foundry and does not depend on TSMC like everyone else, but Intel is only just now coming out with their new ATOM vs. AMD which has been rolling it‘s ryzen for a bit...

Been hearing things about a source code thing to check if your VIN is hidden, is this true? What if it says vin:null?

Ok now am pretty frustrated as I did the exact same thing, also located 15 miles from Fremont.

Null means none. So no. Been checking mine as well, no luck

Update and last post from waiting room...... I received a call this morning that a car matching my order except it had Areo wheels instead of sport wheels was available from someone who cancelled their order. I accepted, had a VIN number in 5 minutes, and a pick up time two hours later in San Diego. Picked up the car this morning, took all of 30 minutes to process delivery. Fastest and easiest delivery of any car we have purchased. I checked all the things the various U-Tube videos suggest, the car was perfect, made in Fremont, I believe it has LFP batteries based on the display. I told my Tesla rep. (who did our test drive) that I would accept any color, any interior, and any wheel types. I believe that flexibility got us a car faster. While I hear some negatives about customer service, our experience was outstanding. A blast to drive. Wishing everyone a short wait and Happy New Year.
