Supercharger - Farmville, VA

Yeah!! So excited for this one. My parents live out in that neck of the woods and it’s just far enough from any of the existing superchargers that I have to be really diligent about SoC when I go out for a visit. This will be a bit convenience for me and close a huge gap in Central VA coverage.

Here we go.

Sounds like it's going in at Sheetz, the 8 spots back behind the car wash. (that's my interpretation, anyway.)

Not sure it's enough to put a pin on supercharge.info, but it's a start.

EDIT: the company doing this work, Leading Edge Services https://leading-edgeservices.com/ describes themselves as:

Leading-Edge Services, Inc. is a Veteran Owned small business based in Roanoke, VA. LES offers General Construction Services and specializes in the following areas: Electrical, General Contracting, Wireless Construction, Electric Vehicle Charger Installation and Project/Construction Management.

Safe to say this is our Farmville Supercharger. Only question is where exactly on the property will it be? I won't be there till late June, so someone else will have to scope it out.

Awesome sleuthing.
My wife will thank you every time she treks out to Farmville to Greenfront & hauls back stuff in the Y next year :p

It looks like construction has already started.

I little birdie told me that there is a problem with this site. The V3 sites must be three phase. look at the picture top right corner. The power pole only has the one wire, it's single phase not three phase. The power company has to bring it in. We could be waiting a while on this one.

Appears that it's something they're aware of.
