Those ponds/puddles will freeze over for good on Tuesday night, so I'm highly skeptical here.Supercharger is coming along nicely, however it does look a little wet, and conduit is floating in the pond. Supercharger cabinets are on site, but not yet unwrapped. Hopefully they get this done before the holes freeze over!
I have a feeling these are electriCANs, not electriCANTs doing the install and they will get it done no matter whatYikes. Looking at the 14 day weather report, they are going to be totally f*(&*d if they don't get that pumped out and tarped over tomorrow. May not even be worth it, just pull the pipes out and start again in the spring.
That looks like it could be over a foot of water in some places and it was raining again yesterday. If that is allowed to freeze solid with the conduit in there, it's game over. Hopefully they got it pumped out or at the very least, the ground itself is still warm enough to prevent much more than a few inches of ice from forming.I have a feeling these are electriCANs, not electriCANTs doing the install and they will get it done no matter what
Looks like some work was done since the prior photos (Nov 14th). Looks to be a slab and bollards for the main BCH transformer and maybe some other minor work under the orange tarps (curbing?) Also with the SparkPower trailer, excavator and the other electrical gear still on site, maybe they still hope to move forward in spite of the winter conditions.Sadly looks like work has stalled. Conduit looks to be in the right place and not floating but no fill has been added into the wholes and looks like they are all full of ice. I saw 3 BC hydro vehicles parked right nearby, that in the past I have seen working on the Accelerate Kootenays DCFC stations, but my guess is they aren’t here for the Tesla supercharger. I’m definitely glad Cranbrooks supercharger excavating work got done before everything froze.

Was not powered up Jan 3rd when I tried. No power to the Flo stations either. Can anyone confirm if the fernie supercharger is up and running yet? Officially, site still says q4 2021 but a user on plugshare posted a check-in on Jan 1,2022. Thanks!
